Crack the Skye

Friday, July 24th, 2009

The latest Mastodon album, Crack the Skye, has been constantly on my mind
this summer, so much that now I’m compelled to write about it.
I like it’s predecessors but in my opinion this album has outdone them sound wise,
vocal wise, songwriting wise… you name it.

And doing so without wearing a black eyeliner is always a plus nowadays.
Their progression as artists is admirable.

I made two window prints for Hugmyndahús Háskólanna. (House of Ideas)
It’s located at Grandagarður 2 and is flaunting nice prints in the windows by
graphic design students. www.hugmyndahus.is

Andrés & Andrésson

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

I’m working on a project these days with my dad.
It’s a shelf for few of my vinyl records. We’ve got several aces up the sleeve
for that desirable extra touch. I’ll post more photos as the project evolves.

The Full Throttle Tour

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I went on a trip with my good friend Haffi “Brute Force” Sæmundsson yesterday.
Spent the whole day shredding on 4X4 ATVs. It’s was just insane.
The sun was blazing and the view was staggering. One of the best days this summer.
I haven’t had this much fun since I saw Awesome Andy Williams and his crotchless
denim pants.
